Nursing Team
All of our nurses and Health Care Assistants are very experienced, they carry out the routine annual checks for those patients with chronic illness, such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, diabetes, hypertension, coronary heart disease, strokes, and epilepsy. This ensures that we are giving each patient the level of care that they need to remain well, and may include blood tests, blood pressure checks and medication reviews. We also cover travel clinics and provide advice to most areas of the world.
We stock vaccines for travel to most areas of the world and the nurses can give advice on protecting yourself during your stay. Please complete the on-line travel form prior to making an appointment with the nurse to discuss your travel needs. We are also a designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre. When appropriate, the receptionists may suggest that you have an appointment with one of our nursing team rather than our doctors, to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
We hold a Smoking Cessation clinic on a Friday morning, providing stop smoking advice on a one to one basis. We cover all aspects of clinical procedures such as ear syringing, suture removal, cervical screening and dressings.
Baby vaccination clinic is held on a Monday afternoon.
